There has never been a card of this caliber in Utah. The main event features Brandon Melendez, an Ultimate Fighter standout vs long time UFC favorite Josh Burkman. Burkman barely lost a close decision to the guy fighting GSP for the title. This is a grudge match that I am amazed we actually put together.
It also includes UFC Veteran Derek Downey against WEC standout David Terrel.
The much anticipated rematch for the title between Showdown Champion Rad Martinez and the always entertaining Razor Sharp. Their last match ended in a controversial decision and Razor has been waiting for this chance to avenge that loss.
The undefeated, head hunting, science teacher, and Showdown Champ Jordan Smith will fight IFL vet Bristol Marunde.
The always amazing, Siler looks to hold onto his title against Sport Fight Champ Enoch Wilson.
This card also features two UVU wrestlers that are monsters in the cage and both

streak dropping bouts to Mike Swick, Dustin Hazelett and Pete Sell. The 29 year old

Bristol Marunde. At 24 year old Smith was widely considered one of the top local
MMA prospects at light heavyweight. Now moving down to 185 pounds for the foreseeable
future Smith boasts a 9-
Coming off a five round title fight with top Arizona Prospect Richard Hale, a win over a fighter with Marunde's resume will go a long way gauging Smith's readiness for a big league call up.
Marunde is currently riding a five winning streak that began following a loss to Benji Radach in June 2007.
Youth and aggressiveness are two of Smith's stronger traits inside the cage. Smith is currently slotted in at number eight in the Ultmma50; a pound for pound list of the top 50 unsigned fighters in all of mixed martial arts.
