The Bellator 74 fight card is now nearly complete, as promotion officials Tuesday announced seven new contests for the Sept. 28 event.

The promotion’s seventh season begins at Caesars Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., and will be topped by a welterweight tournament quarterfinal between former champion
Lyman Goodand BAMMA vet Jim Wallhead.

The evening’s main card airs on MTV2 and features the three remaining tournament pairings, as ex-Dream champ
Marius Zaromskis faces Nordine Taleb, and unbeaten Russian prospect Andrey Koreshkov squares off with Jordan Smith. Meanwhile, Bellator newcomers Tim Welch and Michail Tsarev lock horns to round out the tournament field.

Three new undercard attractions were also added to the bill, as“The Ultimate Fighter 8” finalist
Phillipe Nover meets Derrick Kennington and two-time Bellator vet Kelvin Tiller faces Plinio Cruz. The preliminary proceedings will also see Claudio Ledesma welcome former featherweight Kenny Foster to the bantamweight division and Tiger Schulmann repMunah Holland against a to-be-announced foe.

Good has split his last four bouts after beginning his career a perfect 10-0 en route to capturing Bellator’s inaugural welterweight title, a prize he would relinquish to Season 2 tournament winner
Ben Askren in his first title defense. “Cyborg” failed to win the Season 4 tourney and earn another crack at the gold, falling to eventual winner Rick Hawn in the semis last year. However, Good rebounded from the defeat with a quick victory in his most recent outing, knocking out LeVon Maynard in just 13 seconds in April.

One year older than his upcoming opponent, 28-year-old Wallhead has lost just once in his last 11 outings, also stumbling against Hawn in the Season 4 tournament. “Judo Jim” responded by posting two straight wins under the BAMMA banner, taking a split decision from UFC veteran
Frank Trigg last September before knocking out former Strikeforce talent Joey Villasenor on Dec. 10.
